Returns and Exchanges Policy

This Policy applies to purchases made through the website www.tacay.us, operated by INDUSTRIAS NATURAL OILS S.A.S., owner of the TACAY brand. Due to the nature of our cosmetic products and in compliance with applicable U.S. consumer protection regulations, the following conditions apply.

1. General Considerations Regarding Cosmetic Products

For hygiene, safety, and consumer protection reasons, personal-use cosmetic products are not eligible for return once opened, used, or tampered with, except in cases expressly stated in this Policy.

All products marketed by TACAY are intended exclusively for external cosmetic use and comply with applicable regulations in the United States.

2. Returns for Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Products

Customers may request a return or replacement only in the following cases:

  • The product received does not match the product ordered.

  • The product arrived damaged during shipping.

  • The product has a manufacturing defect that prevents normal use, provided it has not been opened or improperly used.

Reporting Deadline

The customer must notify TACAY within five (5) calendar days from the delivery date.

3. Conditions for an Approved Return

To be eligible for return, the product must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused, unopened, and unaltered.

  • In its original packaging, including seals, labels, and accessories.

  • Free from signs of tampering, misuse, or improper storage.

TACAY reserves the right to reject any request that does not meet these conditions.

4. Procedure to Request an Exchange or Return

To initiate a request, the customer must:

  • Include the order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence when applicable.

  • Wait for confirmation and instructions from our customer service team before sending any product.

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

5. Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected, and if the request is approved, TACAY will proceed with one of the following options:

  • Refund of the amount paid.

  • Replacement with the same product.

  • Issuance of a store credit or coupon for future use (if accepted by the customer).

Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, whenever possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution or payment provider and typically range between 7 and 30 calendar days.

TACAY is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or payment platforms.

6. Non-Returnable Products

Returns or exchanges are not accepted in the following cases:

  • Cosmetic products that have been opened, used, or altered.

  • Products purchased under special promotions or final sale discounts, unless they present manufacturing defects.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow usage instructions.

7. Payment Reversals and Unauthorized Transactions

If an unauthorized or potentially fraudulent transaction is detected, the customer must:

8. Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, TACAY provides a limited warranty applicable only to manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper use or use inconsistent with label instructions.
